Prepping for High School Musical 3!
Cast in the first "HSM" movie right out of high school, Olesya has "grown-up" in the role of Kelsi. Fans were able to see her character change in "HSM 2." ( When she got the call to do that film, she was studying Economics in Paris.) In "HSM 2" Kelsi sang for the first time and fans will see Kelsi evolve even more in "HSM 3."
What makes Olesya so different from many actors her age, is that while she likes to have fun in between films, she also understands that an education is important in this business. Even more important is the need to keep her privacy. "Now, it's just been like a crazy thrill ride," comments Olesya. "This is a dream job. But I can't just roll out of bed and go to the grocery store in my pajamas."
Just like the positive message that the High School Musical franchise has given to millions of fans, Olesya wants to be a positive role model for her fans as well. This comes from a strong family upbringing and her own individual sense of self—and that's actually what "Rulin your World" is all about.
